GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Whiskers.fi  is the marketplace for Baeyo Online Stores. These terms and conditions apply to the commercial relationship between Baeyo Online Stores and its customers. Prices shown in the online store include VAT.

Baeyo Online Stores reserves the right to update these terms and conditions without prior notice. Baeyo Online Stores also reserves the right to change information, including e.g. prices, specifications and product offerings, without prior notice.

APPLICABLE LAW

These terms are subject to the Consumer Protection Act.

ORDERING

By placing an order on the Whiskers.fi website, the customer accepts these delivery terms.

Product images are for guidance only. Baeyo Online Stores cannot guarantee that the images seen by the customer on the screen perfectly match the appearance of the actual products.

PAYMENT TERMS

Our payments are received and maintained by Checkout Finland Oy (business ID 2196606-6) a payment institution license issued by Financial Supervisory Authority. Checkout Finland Oy is part of OP Financial Group.

When you order and pay for your product, and Checkout Finland OY appears on your bank or credit card statement, it means we have received your payment.

Whiskers.fi acts as a marketer of products, services and as a supplier of products to the customer. Whiskers.fi takes care of the statutory and other obligations related to payment transactions. If you want to complain or return a product, you should contact Whiskers.fi where the product was ordered directly.

  • Bank payments

You have payment buttons for all Finnish banks at your disposal. You can pay with the payment buttons of Aktia, Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, Nordea, Oma Säästöpankki, Osuuspankki, POP Bank, Säästöpankki, S-pank and Ålandsbanken. From the online store, you will be directed directly to your own bank to make the payment securely. Checkout Finland Oy appears as the payee on your account statement.

  • Credit card payments

You can pay online with Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Debit MasterCard and American Express cards. Whiskers.fi uses international Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode and American Express SafeKey authentication services. Checkout appears as the payee on your card statement and forwards the card payment paid by the customer directly to the merchant. Card payments are made securely using a secure payment form and payment card information is not stored in our e-commerce systems.

  • Mobile payments

Mobile payment methods Pivo, MobilePay and Siirto are services that work in the application, with which you can pay for online purchases by bank transfer from your account or by card payment from your card by accepting the payment in that application.

DELIVERY AND SHIPPING COSTS

Delivery time is 7-15 working days (weekends not counted). Small packages that can go throw your mail box will be delivered at home. On the other hand, large packages will be delivered at your nearby Post Office and you will be notify by email, text or note to come pick up the package.

Shipping cost for orders are FREE, regardless of the quantity or weight of the order.

SOLD OUT PRODUCT

If the product is sold out or Whiskers.fi is unable to deliver the product at the stated price, Baeyo Online Stores will refund the customer the fee already paid by the customer. Baeyo Online Stores must also inform the customer if similar replacement products are available.

OWNERSHIP

All products are the property of Baeyo Online Stores until payment is made.

TRANSPORT OF LIABILITY

Baeyo Online Stores is liable under the Consumer Protection Act for the product to be destroyed, lost, deteriorated or reduced for reasons beyond the customer’s control either before it is handed over to the driver or after it has been handed back to the seller, for example if the goods are damaged or lost in the mail.

If the product sent by Baeyo Online Stores is damaged during transport, you must immediately notify our customer service via the contact form

DELAYS

We do our best to deliver products to our customers as quickly as possible, but unfortunately sometimes there are delays in deliveries and we cannot guarantee that your order will arrive on a particular day. We reserve the right to cancel an order if there are problems with the availability of the product or the payment of the order. In unforeseen situations (Force Majeure) such as war, natural disaster, corona virus pandemic, strike, fire and missing deliveries from subcontractors, Baeyo Online Stores is not responsible for delays.

CUSTOMER RIGHTS IN CASE OF DELAY

If Whiskers.fi is unable to deliver the products within the agreed delivery time, the customer has the right to cancel the order.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

We grant a 14-days exchange and return right for products ordered by the customer. The right of return applies to undamaged and unused products. The cancellation period expires 14 days after the customer or a third party (other than the carrier) has received the product.

The right of cancellation does not apply to products individually made for the customer. Restrictions on the right of return are determined in accordance with Chapter 6, Section 16 of the Consumer Protection Act: Games, films, software or other sealed products do not have a right of return once the product packaging has been opened. Hygiene and intimate products do not have a right of return after opening the package, as the product is not returnable for sale due to its nature.

We accept order cancellation before the product is shipped or produced. If the order is cancelled you will get full refund. We cannot cancel the order if the product is already shipped out.

Cancellations must be made in writing by contacting our customer service via the contact form By contacting our customer service, the customer will receive a return number and address. The customer is responsible for the return costs, unless it is a complaint.

If you’re not totally satisfied with your Whiskers.fi purchase, you can return it within 14 days after the receipt of the product(“money back guarantee”). Returns will take approximately 3 working days for the process once the goods have arrived. The precise length depends on the payment provider used (e.g. PayPal, credit card company, etc). The refund will be made to the same payment method used during ordering.

Please note that your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging, together with the proof of purchase. Please contact our customer service via the contact form  to notify us once you ship back the product. Your order number and reason for the return must be included in the email (photos attached if necessary). If the reason for return isn’t quality-related, you should pay for the return shipping costs. If the reason for return is quality-related, we will be responsible for the return shipping costs.

Note:

  1. The money back guarantee does not cover volume/wholesale and customized orders.
  2. Any product returned found not to be defective can be refunded. Goods found to be tampered with by the customer will not be replaced but returned at the customer’s own expense.
  3. By default, the refund amount cannot exceed the original order amount paid to Whiskers.fi. Whiskers.fi is not responsible for and has no knowledge about any bank fees or exchange rate charges that may occur. These fees are processed by the issuing bank and will not be refunded by Whiskers.fi.

UNCLAIMED SHIPMENT

Shipments that are not picked up and thus automatically returned to Whiskers.fi will be charged EUR 14.90 (including taxes) to cover the logistical and administrative costs of Whiskers.fi.

COMPLAINT

The customer must check that the product he/she has received is correct and error free. If Baeyo Online Stores has delivered the wrong or incorrect product, the customer should contact us as soon as possible to resolve the problem.

Complaints must be made to Whiskers.fi customer service via the contact form . In the message, the customer must state the order number and the reason for the complaint.

Whiskers.fi is responsible for return costs in the event of a complaint.

REPAYMENT

If the product is not exchanged or replaced, Baeyo Online Stores will refund the price paid within 14 working days of receipt of the return.

WARRANTY

All product warranties are provided by suppliers or manufacturers. In some cases, the warranty provided by the manufacturer or supplier may go beyond the specifications of the Consumer Protection Act. The extended warranty is described in the product information.

UNREDEMED SHIPMENTS

The unclaimed package will be returned to us unredeemed. An unredeemed package is not the same as a return, and for this reason we reserve the right not to ship new orders.

FORCE MAJEURE

Baeyo Online Stores shall not be liable for delays caused by reasons beyond Whiskers.fi control and which it could not reasonably have foreseen, or for errors or delays in the services of subcontractors or service providers. Such circumstances constitute a ground for release for Baeyo Online Stores, which means suspension of payments and release from liability for damages or other penalties.

DATA PROTECTION

Baeyo Online Stores does not disclose or sell customer data to third parties. Whiskers.fi processes customer data as required by the Personal Data Act. Baeyo Online Stores may use name and address information for direct marketing purposes to the extent permitted by law. The customer always has the right to contact Baeyo Online Stores to check their personal data in the register. In addition, the customer may request that the data be corrected or deleted.

APPLICABLE LAW AND SETTLEMENT OF DISPUTES

Disputes are primarily resolved by mutual agreement between the customer and Baeyo Online Stores. In order to give the customer the freedom to resolve any dispute out of court, Baeyo Online Stores always follows the recommendations of the Consumer Disputes Board. Disputes concerning the interpretation and applicability of these terms and conditions shall be settled in accordance with Finnish law. The consumer customer has the right to refer any disputes arising from this agreement to the Consumer Disputes Board.

INFORMATION CONTENT OF THE REGISTER

The register may contain the following information about Baeyo Online Stores customers and service users:
• Basic information about the data subject, such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, date and age of birth and customer ID or codes
• Information about the products ordered by the customer, their delivery and invoicing

REGULAR SOURCES OF INFORMATION

Personal data is collected in connection with ordering or registering a product or otherwise directly from the data subject or with the data subject’s consent.

DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

Personal data may be disclosed to the extent permitted and required by applicable law. Baeyo Online Stores may also use subcontractors to process the data. The data may be transferred outside the European Union or the European Economic Area as required by law.

PROTECTION OF THE REGISTER

The data is collected and processed on Whiskers.fi password-protected server. Access to the registry is protected by user-specific IDs, passwords and access rights.
